Snow-capped Himalayan peaks above a green valley

Himachal Pradesh & Beyond

Mountain adventures through the Indian Himalayas — from sacred pilgrimages to high-altitude road trips.

Three Distinct Mountain Experiences

Northern India offers some of the most dramatic landscapes on earth. Below are three popular options — each can be tailored to your schedule and interests. Duration is flexible; just tell me how much time you have.

Pilgrimage

Char Dham Yatra

The Char Dham pilgrimage visits four sacred Hindu shrines in the Garhwal Himalayas: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. This is one of the most revered spiritual journeys in India, set against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows and rushing rivers.

The route typically starts from Haridwar or Rishikesh and winds through winding mountain roads to each temple. I handle all the driving so you can focus on the spiritual experience.

Adventure

Leh Ladakh

Ladakh is the ultimate high-altitude road trip. Drive over some of the highest motorable passes in the world — Khardung La (5,359 m) and Chang La — with surreal landscapes of barren mountains, turquoise lakes and ancient Buddhist monasteries.

Visit Pangong Tso (the famous blue lake), explore the monasteries of Hemis, Thiksey and Diskit, and experience a land that feels like a different planet. Best visited between June and September.

Spiritual & Wellness

Rishikesh

Known as the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh sits on the banks of the Ganges where the river exits the Himalayas. It is a place for meditation, yoga, rafting and simple peace of mind.

Cross the iconic Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges, attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, and explore the ashrams and cafés that line the riverbank. Rishikesh can be combined with a visit to Haridwar or extended into a longer Uttarakhand itinerary.
